As a Proxy Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the development team and the Product Owner. 
Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate effective communication, prioritize tasks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives. 
You will represent their vision, provide guidance, and support the Agile development process. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
1. Communication Facilitation: 
- Act as a liaison between the development team and the Product Owner, conveying information, clarifying requirements, and providing updates on project progress. 
- Organize and facilitate meetings, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. 
 
2. Requirement Prioritization: 
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to understand their vision, product roadmap, and business goals, and translate them into actionable tasks for the development team. 
- Prioritize product backlog items based on customer value, business impact, and development team capacity, ensuring the team's focus on high[1]priority deliverables. 
 
3. Agile Development Support:
- Support the development team in understanding user stories, acceptance criteria, and overall project scope. 
- Provide guidance to the team during sprint planning, helping them define sprint goals, estimate effort, and select work items for each iteration. 
- Assist in removing any impediments or roadblocks that hinder the team's progress, collaborating with stakeholders and other teams as necessary. 
 
4. Product Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with the Product Owner's expectations.
- Participate in product demos, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and incorporating it into future iterations. 
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance the product development process, productivity, and quality. 
 
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an Agile development environment, preferably as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Proxy Product Owner. 
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and the Product Owner.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with product management concepts, including user story creation, backlog grooming, and release planning. 
- Knowledge of product development lifecycle and software development processes. 
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities. 
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent work experience.
 
Languages:
- English: solid B2 or above
- French: B2 or above
